This Privacy Policy explains how ClipCut (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use ClipCut (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account data — your email address, name, and authentication details (including, if you use Google sign-in, the basic profile your provider shares).
Content — the videos and related media you upload or link, and the clips, captions, and assets generated from them.
Billing data — subscription and payment status. Card details are handled directly by our payment processors (Stripe and, for some accounts, Whop); we do not store full card numbers.
Usage & device data — how you interact with the Service, plus log and analytics data (including via cookies and similar technologies) used to operate, secure, and improve the product.

2. How We Use Information

To provide and operate the Service, including processing your videos into clips.
To manage your account, subscription, and billing.
To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and debug problems.
To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support.
To analyze and improve the Service.

3. How Information Is Shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf to run the Service, under appropriate confidentiality and data terms. These include providers for authentication and database hosting, file storage, payments (Stripe, Whop), product analytics, and email delivery. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights and users.

4. Your Content

Your videos and generated clips are used to provide the Service to you. We do not sell Your Content or use it to train models for third parties. You can delete your projects and clips from within the app.

5. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete content or your account, we remove or de-identify the associated data within a reasonable period, subject to backups and legal requirements.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@clipcut.pro.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International Transfers

We and our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
